The Collierville High School Band Family promotes passionate students who are hardworking and disciplined on and off the field.
Jazz After Dark
Collierville High School Dragon Band comes out
groovin' up slow with a cool version of the classic Harlem
Nocturne before turning up the heat and cooking while a couple
of cats with balloon lungs knock you out with a little solo action.
Don't go getting all emotional on us when we slide into As Time
Goes By. Dig that sultry sax moving across the middle of
the field and welcome those cats back with flugle horns in hand as a
temptress flits between them. You'll flip your lid when the
hide-hitters lay down some hot licks in an old school drum battle.
Our show concludes with an all out Moondance, during which
the lady makes her choice. Which horn player wins her heart?
You'll have to watch the show to find out. It's
supermurgitroid, daddy-o!
